Alan L. Wischhover

Alan L. WischhoverAlan graduated from I.I.T. Chicago Kent College with a J.D. in law in 1969 and at the age of 23, he was admitted to the State and Federal Bar.  Alan was named President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.  Following his admission to the bar, he practiced with the Federal Defender Program  for a year. At the age of 29, Alan waselected as the youngest Vice President at the Chicago Title and Trust Company.

Vice President of Commonwealth Land Title, heading the Illinois Region, was his next position. Within the same year, Alan formed  Wischhover & Vaccarello and later Wischhover & Associates. He served on the Real Estate and Condominium Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. Alan has one of the leading firms in the representation of over 70 Condominium Associations, Co-ops, Townhome Associations, and Residential Associations.

Since 1988, he has served as an Arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. Alan was a Registered Real Estate Instructor licensed with the State of Illinois from 1982-2000.
At South Suburban College he served as a member of the Paralegal and Real Estate Advisory Boards. With his vast knowledge, Alan taught Real Estate and Law courses at St. Xavier University, Chicago, Illinois; Moraine Valley College, Palos Hills, Illinois; as well as at Thornton Community College and South Suburban College, both in South Holland, Illinois. Alan also held the following positions: he served on the Board of Directors of South Suburban College Foundation and was Chairman of the Board of Enterprise Land Title, Ltd.; Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Suburban Federal Savings Bank and Chairman of the Loan Committee, Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Financial Services, FSB; and Audit Committee.

Alan currently serves as part of the Electorate Body for the Episcopal Bishop of the Chicago Diocese of Illinois and is on the Vestry f his church. He formerly the Senior Warden of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity.

Alan holds the position of Vice President of his  Condominium Association at Hidden Lake Condominium in Palos Hills, Illinois. While he was a resident at 155 Harbor Point Condominium Association in Chicago, Illinois, he serviced as President and then Vice President.

Alan, well seasoned in Condominium and HOA law, has been asked to speak before the Association of Condominium, Townhome, and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA) and Community Association Institute (CAI).

Alan has been licensed before the State and Federal bar for over forty three years.
